Beautifulbrian Seiken made his triumphant return since competing last at Nathans
this past June. Seiken finished with 2.5 cheesesteak sandwiches in 10 min. NYC
police officer and Nathans finalist Bob Collandrillo ate 2 cheesesteak sandwiches
but complained bitterly about the texture of the hero rolls which were rock hard to
say the least. If any contest cried out for lifting the no dunking rule, this one
certainly applied. Only one time in IFOCE history was the no dunking rule put back
eating exhibition with Crazy Legs Conti on CW 11 Larry Hoff morning show prior to
the Canoli eating contest in Sept 2007. With the fear that RIch Shea's top guns
would be in jeopardy of losing their incisors if the no dunking rule applied, he
caved in under pressure and lifted the ban. Five spot is the spot for cheesesteak
and party. . Great atmosphere, great people, great DJ and lots of Michael
Jackson tunes to boot. Damien made his emcee debut and it was met with star
studded reviews
