Notorious BOB went through 8 plates of
Nathans hotdogs In Atlantic City like a farm
animal that hadn't been fed in months to
secure his 5th consecutive trip to Coney
Island. Bob set an all time NJ record with 40.
Basically another Shout rout if you want to call
it that with Jim Reeves finishing a not so close
2nd with 25. A disappointed Pat from
Moonachie finished 3rd with 24.5. George
Shea seemed content in announcing the first
second and third place finishers until Allen
Goldstein reminded him that he came in 4th.
with 23. Rising superstar 25yr old Brian
"dudlight" Dudzinski making his debut in the
Nathans circuit ate 20 finishing in a tie for 5th
with US Male . Larell Marie Mele who improves
with each contest out ate her chauffeur and
eating buddy Russ Keeler(13.5) finishing with
a personal best of 15.25 . besting
Beautifulbrian's 15 at Shea Stadium in 2008 .
Brian Subich and Steakbellie also did well
finishing with 17 apiece. As was the case last
year , the AC hotdogs were uncooked and
ungrilled to perfection which became self
evident as some of the contestants heaved
them up immediately after consumption. Larell
Marie's home town cheering section (watch
video below) was the key vocal point in the
contest as a mesmerized George Shea was not
only impressed with her fans but her beauty
and grace as she stuffed down one dog after
another without a smile.Pat Bertoletti was in
town to root on Bob Shoudt and then head
over to Jims Steakhouse to break Shoudts
record of 13 Cheesesteaks . George Shea
proved once again that he is the master of all
masters convincing the crowd that Bert Parks
and Billy Graham have nothing on him
